BASINGSTOKE fell silent on Sunday as hundreds gathered to pay their respects to fallen soldiers.
Residents, civic chiefs and councillors joined veterans and military personnel on Remembrance Sunday, November 13, to remember those who have given their lives in service.
A parade started from Market Place, through the Top of the Town to the War Memorial, where a service was led by the Mayor’s Chaplain Revd Canon Linda Scard.
Members of the military, emergency services and organisations including the Scouts took part in the parade which was watched on by loved ones and Basingstoke residents.
During the service at the War Memorial, The Salvation Army singers and band provided the music and choral accompaniment.
The Gazette's photographer, Sean Dillow, captured the event in this gallery of images.
