Tiverton Town edged out Hartley Wintney thanks to a single second-half goal from home striker Lucas Vowles.
Tiverton started slightly better and on seven minutes a long shot from Niall Thompson brought out an easy save from Adam Desbois in the Hartley goal.
Hartley had a good share of the match but we're unable to create a meaningful chance. On the half-hour mark Leighton Thomas for Tiverton fed Thompson who saw his effort bring out a comfortable save from Desbois.
The Row started the second period brightly but they were still unable to make any impression on the Tivvy defence.
The first Tiverton attack on 52 minutes saw a dangerous cross from the left by Joseph O'Loughlin take a deflection off a home forward and go wide. On the hour a well-worked Tivvy free kick routine on the right saw Brittan feed Thompson whose dangerous cross was scrambled clear by the Row defence.
Kyan Nicholas made his long-awaited return as substitute for Hartley. The breakthrough goal arrived on 74 minutes. A move down the left involving Oliver Mehew saw a high cross into the Row penalty area.
Lucas Vowles did well to control the ball and shoot home from 12 yards. (1-0.
Like most of the second half the Row finished with most of the possession but unable to dent a resolute home defence.
