OWNERS of a long-running beauty salon is thanking customers for making its six-month anniversary event a success.
Angela Pearce and Suzanne Miller, who took over Eloquin beauty salon on Goat Lane in April 2022, held the launch event on November 6 to celebrate six months since they took over the business.
The special anniversary event, which lasted from 11am-3pm, saw attendees treated to free trial treatments such as hand and foot massages, as well as free cakes, nibbles and Prosecco.

The first 30 attendees also received a gift bag to take home with them.
Angela said that the event was “really successful”, attracting 50 people throughout the day.
She said: “We were really happy with how many people turned up; we were really busy!”
Angela continued: “It was just really nice to see the buzz of the salon and everyone so happy and just chatting about what we do and how we can help them.
“A lot of people would say ‘Oh, I want help with this, what have you got’, and we were then able to help them with that.
“So, it was nice to solve people’s problems and let them know what we have available to help them.”
Angela said that she and all the other staff at Eloquin are “just really grateful” to every attendee who went along to the event: “We were really blown away with the amount of support that we received.
“And we were just really grateful, as always, for people to support us and we never take that for granted.
“So just a big thank you really.”
Due to the success of the launch event, Angela and Suzanne have thought about doing more events at Eloquin in the future.

Angela added: “Because it went so well, we did say that it would be nice to do other events like that, so even if it was a little bit of a pamper evening.
“It was nice I think, post-Covid, just to see everyone together again, and just chat and be able to mingle and lift people’s spirits as well and people being able to get out.
“So I think those gatherings are just really nice, especially for our older clients.”
