A MANSION in Hook where TV presenter Ant McPartlin had his wedding reception has been named among one of the best boutique hotels in Britain.

Heckfield Place was described as the "epitome of Georgian elegance" by Taylors of Harrogate.

Many other famous faces are believed to be among the guests, including Declan Donnelly, Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield, Frank Lampard, Stephen Mulhern, Vernon Kay and Tess Daly.

The hotel sits at the heart of a historic estate, surrounded by scenery of woodland and countryside. It has been ranked fourth nationally and heralded as a luxury retreat with contemporary rooms.

On the breathtaking grounds, you can find many walled gardens and Heckfield's upper and lower lakes.

The Marle restaurant is one of the best parts of the hotel and has been described as the perfect place to dine and drink.
