A WOMAN has been injured after her car overturned on a major road near Basingstoke on Sunday night, November 28.
According to police, the 41-year-old was driving a Ford S Max on the A303 eastbound between A34 Sutton Scotney and A30 near Basingstoke when the incident happened.
One lane was partially closed for a couple of hours following the crash. Police stopped the traffic at around 9pm while the car was recovered.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Police were called at 8.40pm on Sunday, November 27 to reports of a collision on the A303 involving one vehicle, a Ford S Max.
"A 41-year-old woman from Basingstoke was injured."
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Whitchurch, Andover and Basingstoke firefighters were called to the A303, eastbound following an RTC which saw one car onto its roof.
"Ambulance colleagues attended and fire crews made the scene safe.
"Stop message received 9.14pm."
South Central Ambulance Service has been contacted for more details.
