A BASINGSTOKE cancer support group is now running weekly exercise classes to help with the distress of cancer diagnosis.
The North Hampshire Prostate Cancer Support Group has joined forces with Stephanie Wallis, business owner of Stepping Stones Health and Well Being to run weekly exercise classes at the Lychpit Community Centre every Monday morning.
Exercise is known for improving both mental and physical well being, therefore it can make a significant difference in cancer patient treatment outcomes, helping people have a much more positive outlook.

Stephanie started her business throughout the covid lockdown, and her exercise classes focus on cognitive exercises to get the brain working and dual movements.
Due to her experience in providing routines for cancer patients, the North Hampshire Prostate Cancer Support Group said that it made her the natural choice for running these classes for the group, which the members extremely enjoyed, as well as being able to socialise with one another.
