POLICE have confirmed they have found a Basingstoke teenage girl who had been missing since Wednesday.
According to police, 13-year-old Lyla was last seen on Wednesday evening, December 21, in Simmons Walk in Basingstoke at around 10pm.
Her disappearance sparked a huge community effort with scores of people turning out as the community rallied to help find her.

However, a police spokesman confirmed in the early hours of Wednesday, December 28 that she had been found. They thanked the public for their help.
They said: "We're pleased to inform you that Lyla has been located safe.
"Thank you to everyone who has shared our appeal."
