AN INTERACTIVE play wall with games for children and adults is coming to a Basingstoke shopping centre.
Festival Place has announced that the colourful wall will be positioned along the empty unit previously occupied by Debenhams.
It will include a variety of games such as Connect 4, Maze, and Noughts and Crosses all placed at different heights for different ages.

The interactive wall will challenge both children and adults who can stop for five minutes of free fun while shopping.
Festival Place gave shoppers cryptic clues on the side of the former Debenhams unit, keeping people guessing as to what it would be used for.
However, some may be disappointed to discover that the shopping centre still has no plans for the inside of the three-storey unit, which has been vacant since May 2021.

Sian Fisher, events and community manager at Festival Place, said: “With more than 200 big brand stores, food from across the globe, a 10-screen cinema, sports complex and various entertainment venues, there’s no reason for anyone to be bored at Festival Place.
“But we think this new interactive games wall will up the fun factor even further and encourage anyone visiting us to stop and play against friends and family.
“The interactive play wall will open soon, and our team will be on hand to encourage our customers to have a go.”
