AN AWARD-WINNING youth musical theatre society from Basingstoke is looking for its next cast.
People from any race, gender, ethnicity and religious identity are welcome to audition for the roles with BATS Next Gen.
There are strong links with this musical already, as past members of the society have gone on to perform professionally in both the film and stage versions.
BATS Next Gen, which celebrates its 20th year of performances this year, is run by a group of volunteers with the aim to provide affordable musical experiences to young people in the Basingstoke area. This show will be BATS' 26th production.

As the show is mostly set around those in their final year at secondary school, the age for auditioning has been set from current Year 6 to those aged 18 at the time of the performance.
A pre-audition workshop will be held on February 2, with auditions on Saturday, February 4 and Sunday, February 5. Auditionees must have attended a workshop prior to the audition.
The show will be performed on August 3, 4 and 5 at The Haymarket, Basingstoke.
