POLICE were called to an incident of a vulnerable person suffering a medical episode in the Popley area of Basingstoke.
The incident happened on Sunday, January 29. Hampshire Constabulary officers were called to Don Allen Drive.
A spokesperson said: "You may have noticed a large police presence in the area of Don Allen Drive in Popley this evening (29th January). Police were called to an incident of a vulnerable person suffering a medical episode.

"They were safely detained without incident by officers from the Response & Patrol and Neighbourhoods Teams. They are now being looked after by the appropriate services. I like to reassure residents that this was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the community."
