PATROLS have been conducted in and around Basingstoke with the aim of preventing and deterring anti-social behaviour, crime and disorder.
Basingstoke Cops took to Facebook to share the news and told residents PCSOs and PCs from the local neighbourhood policing team, supported by colleagues from Festival Place's customer service team have conducted high vis patrols in and around the town centre with the aim to prevent and deter anti-social behaviour, crime and disorder.

During the patrols, the team issued an out-of-court disposal in relation to shoplifting from Iceland, helped move on large groups of youths, who were causing trouble within Festival Place, they attended a road traffic collision just after the exit ramp going out of Festival Place and attended a concern for welfare at the train station
Basingstoke Cops posted: "Remember, if you see anything suspicious/concerning or have been the victim of a crime please report it to one of the team, 101 or 999 in an emergency or you can report online on Hampshire Constabulary webpage."
