A VAN driver in his 50s has died in a crash at a petrol station that occurred near Sherfield-on-Loddon on Wednesday, February 15.
The man was driving a yellow MAN TGE 3 van on the A33 at Turgis Green when his vehicle left the southbound carriageway and collided with a silver Volkswagen Passat that was parked on the forecourt of a petrol station.
The crash happened at around 12.30pm.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the driver of the MAN TGE 3, a man in his 50s from Reading, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other people were injured.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Police are now appealing for witnesses and information following the fatal road traffic collision.
Officers investigating the incident are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened.
