A BASINGSTOKE veterinary practice has celebrated moving into its new premises, trebling the business in size and is expected to transform its services.
On February 15, St Kitts Vets moved next door from its old location into a 3,400-square-foot purpose-built clinic at Brighton Hill Parade.
The veterinary group celebrated its move with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and both the Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane Cllr Paul Miller and the mayoress, Sandra Miller attended the event.

Demonstrations were performed for clients to see the equipment first-hand, with many pointing out how great it was to see what goes on behind the scenes.
Practice manager Anna Jones said: “The opening day event was a great success, it was overwhelming to see how many current clients and new faces came to have a tour of the clinic.
"The staff are so proud of the clinic and all the facilities it has. To be able to offer the pets of Basingstoke an even higher level of patient care and diagnosis than previously is something we are delighted about!”

Its premises will now feature new facilities, including five consulting rooms, separate cat and dog waiting areas in reception, a CT scanner, two operating theatres, digital X-ray facilities, a dental suite including state-of-the-art dental X-rays, and separate cat and dog wards, including a dedicated isolation ward.
The larger waiting areas and increased number of consultation rooms mean the vets can offer even more appointment times to existing clients as well as welcome new clients and their pets to the practice.
Formerly known as Basingstoke Veterinary Centre, the vets has also undergone a rebrand to reflect its commitment to providing the best standard of modern care to pets across the borough.
