A MOTHER of three has been left feeling 'upset' following a battle with her housing association over the condition of her family home.
Jade Wood has been living in a Sovereign Housing flat in Westlake Gardens in Bramley since September 2021 with her three young children.
The 25-year-old said the house is covered in mould, which has led to some of the family's personal items being ruined.
She said: "Since we moved in we have had problems with mould since the first day we have been in the property, especially when it was winter. In the summer it cleared up because the building had dried out and now it has come back.

"I have contacted Sovereign and told them that it has come back. They are just blaming us. They have said that we are not ventilating the property properly."
She said the walls have since been painted but as the mould has made her six-month-old baby ill, she has asked if the family can move.
She continued: "It is literally everywhere, it is in the cupboard, down on the bottom of the walls on the corner. It has ruined all my stuff, even right down to fabric things in the cupboard.
"I have to clean the house every single day, I have to take my phone around so I can take photos before cleaning it off. I always have to buy mould treatment because I know there is going to be mould somewhere.
"I feel really upset because having explained this problem they [Sovereign] come out and they put it down to the tenement."

Matthew Hensby, assistant director for localities at Sovereign Housing, said they had carried out work to rectify the problem.
He said surveyors visited when Jade reported the problem in May.
He said: "We carried out a series of works as a result, including insulating some internal pipes in June 2022.
“We also sent Jade a set of guidelines around the importance of ventilation in new builds and the occurrence of mould forming within the construction phase.
“Jade got in touch again when the mould reappeared in October 2022. We treated the entire property with specialist cleaning products, followed by anti-fungicidal paint. We are also upgrading the property’s ventilation with a PIV unit."
He said they last visited on February 9 and detected no mould.
