A FAMILY has paid tribute to a 'lovely' man who died following a road traffic collision near Sherfield-on-Loddon.
Richard Evans, 53, from Reading was pronounced dead at the scene after he crashed on the A33 at Turgis Green shortly after 12.30pm on Wednesday, February 15.
It was reported a yellow MAN TGE 3 van left the southbound carriageway and collided with a silver Volkswagen Passat that was parked on the forecourt of a petrol station.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, Mr Evans, who drove the MAN TGE 3, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other people were injured.

His family have paid the following tribute to him: "We have lost a loving son, brother, devoted father to his three children and grandad to Roman. We are all deeply shocked by his sudden passing.
"We would like to thank all the emergency services that attended the scene of this tragic accident."
Police are investigating the circumstances that led to this collision and are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened.
