Europe’s largest shoe retailer has reopened its Basingstoke store with a new look after closing nearly eight weeks ago.
Deichmann opened the doors to its refurbished store on March 8.
The retailer's 570m2 store, located at Unit G in Old Basing Mall, has undergone a £500,000 refurbishment, which has also seen it expand.
And the company, which has its headquarters in Germany, is celebrating its new look by presenting customers with offers such as 50 per cent selected lines.
Cristina Dumitrescu has been the store manager in Basingstoke for the past two years.
She said: "We've been spread out between local shops so to be back is very exciting. We know our customers here in Basingstoke and we're excited to be able to serve them again.
"The store looks fantastic and we're thrilled with the new, modern look."

Cristina said the Basingstoke store continues to showcase a customer-friendly layout, with all the stock available on the shop floor so that customers can easily locate and try on the style and size of their choice without having to wait for assistance.
The company frequently collaborates with cutting-edge fashion designers and A-List stars. Previous collaborations include British singers Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding, design duo, Nova Chiu, and Hollywood celebrity Halle Berry.

Deichmann also stocks a full range of men’s and children’s shoes, as well as unique and exclusive lines from brands such as Adidas, Fila, Nike and Skechers.
These come with a price promise, ensuring that customers are refunded the difference if they find an identical pair of branded shoes cheaper in any UK high street or online retailer.
There is also an extensive ‘comfort’ range. Deichmann’s own brand shoes start at just £5.99, with real leather products starting at £29.99.
Managing director for product, marketing and communications for Deichmann UK, Simon Wilson, said: “We’re excited to announce the refurbishment of the Basingstoke store. The store within the Old Basing Mall has been expanded and there will be some amazing special offers during the opening week for customers to enjoy.”
