WALKING DEAD and Supernatural star Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be coming to Basingstoke in May.

The American actor, who plays Negan in the cult horror drama series, will be coming to the town as one of the headliners at Basingstoke's first-ever Comic Con.

He is set to join the star-studded panel and will appear at the event on Saturday, May 20.

Basingstoke Comic Con will take place from May 19-21, at the Hampshire Court Hotel in Chineham, with the actor due to appear on the second day.

The actor is also known for his roles in Supernatural, Watchmen, Grey's Anatomy and more recently Amazon Prime's popular superhero series 'The Boys. But he is best known for his role as Negan Smith in the critically acclaimed horror drama 'The Walking Dead', first appearing in 2016.

During the event there will be question and answer sessions, photo ops, guest autographs, meet and greet sessions and ‘cosplay’, giving visitors the chance to dress up as their favourite comic book characters.

The other headliners announced so far include Doctor Who sensation David Tennant, and Tom Sturridge, who plays Dream in The Sandman, which was adapted from the original Neil Gaiman comics.
