A school in Basingstoke hosted a mock interview day for students in Year 10.
The Vyne is a co-educational community school for young people aged 11–16, in Vyne Road.
Students in Year 10 were given the opportunity to complete a CV workshop and attend a mock interview day, put on through the school's partnership with Fujitsu.
Staff members from Fujitsu volunteered to interview the students through sessions held throughout the day on March 9.
Giffele Scott, 35, is a computer science teacher at the school, and is also the careers lead at the Vyne.
He said: "This has been such a fantastic opportunity for our students in Year 10 being able to not only have this interview day, but also the CV workshops and other events that have been put together to prepare them for the next stage in their life.

"It's given students the ability to write a CV, a personal statement, and take part in a mock interview where, for the first time, the feedback from the interview is held on record for the student's reference. It's a really beneficial experience and we're really happy with how it's gone."
Tyler, Maciej, Eleanor, Aadi, Connor and Alicia are students in Year 10. They said were initially nervous but could now see the benefits.
They said it had helped build their confidence.

Fujitsu Defence lead ambassador for Vyne School’s Engagement programme, David Ross, said: "It has been a great pleasure and honour working with the Vyne school over the last nine years on our school’s engagement programme.
"The sheer number and variety of events we’ve delivered over the years has developed tremendously and provides so many fantastic opportunities for our young people to engage with a local business like Fujitsu.
"Establishing a long-term sustainable partnership like we have with the Vyne really enables all our committed volunteers to understand the needs of young people within our community which in turn creates an atmosphere of trust and openness as clearly evident when we deliver events like the mock interview day."
