STAFF across hospitals run by Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) are due to take part in industrial action in the coming days.
HHFT, which runs hospitals across Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover confirmed the news on Sunday, March 12.
Residents have been urged to only attend emergency departments if it is an urgent or life-threatening situation.
Dr Lara Alloway, chief medical officer at HFFT, said: "Our main priority is delivering the best possible patient care, and ensuring our services run smoothly and safely.

"We are planning ahead and working with healthcare partners to manage our services in the best way to keep any disruption to a minimum whilst the industrial action takes place.

"We are asking people not to put off seeking urgent care in an emergency. However, please only attend our emergency departments if it is an urgent and/or life-threatening situation.
"Patients who have hospital appointments during this period should still attend as planned unless they have been contacted directly."
