The death of a Basingstoke woman, who was found with serious injuries at her home, is not being treated as suspicious anymore, police have revealed.
Police were called to an address in Schubert Road in Basingstoke on Thursday, March 9, after it was reported that a woman in her 70s was found with serious injuries.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
As part of the initial enquiries, a 72-year-old man was arrested.

Police have now confirmed that her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A police spokesperson said: "We can now confirm that following extensive enquiries the woman’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
"The 72-year-old man who was initially arrested will have no further action taken against him.
"Next-of-kin have been informed and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
