BASINGSTOKE Golf Club will be teaming up with The Prostate Cancer Support Group (PCaSO) to encourage men to take a free blood test.
The event will be held at the club's home in Dummer on Down Street later this year on Saturday, May 13 ad will offer men a PSA blood test.
The test is able to measure the amount of prostate-specific antigen in the blood. PSA is a protein produced by normal cells in the prostate and also by prostate cancer cells.

The event will be open to anyone in the area aged 50 and above (or aged 40-plus if there is a family history).
PCaSO is a charity which does not charge for tests with results returned from an NHS laboratory usually under 10 days but contributions are welcome.
