RESIDENTS were invited to put on their boots and hard hats to visit a new development site in Basingstoke.
Bellway Wessex held the event at its Longfield Place development in Sherfield on Loddon to give prospective residents the opportunity to see their homes taking shape.
The developer welcomed would-be customers to the site, where they were able to pull on boots, hard hats and hi-vis jackets to visit the properties being built.

The housebuilder is building 150 new homes at Longfield Place, including 90 new homes for private sale and 60 affordable properties.
Kim Caldwell, sales director for Bellway Wessex, said: “The ‘dusty boots’ event was a chance for us as housebuilders to bring to life the whole construction process and show our customers' houses being built rather than having to rely on brochures or a showhome."
The development, on an 18-acre site, will feature public open space, including footpaths, a kickabout area and a children’s play area.
