A COZY and traditional pub with raving customer reviews that is tucked away on a quiet country lane could be yours for £700,000.
Four former workers’ cottages in North Waltham were converted into a warm, charming pub and restaurant - The Fox.
It is known for its great selection of ales and quality pub food, and friendly service thanks to the work of the owners who have been in charge for the last 20 years.
You just have to take a quick glance at TripAdvisor to see how popular The Fox is with locals and visitors from afar.

One positive reviewer said: “We all had an excellent time with wonderful food, service and atmosphere. We go here quite regularly and it never disappoints. Would recommend a visit for a special occasion meal or casual lunch. Booking is advised as it is popular.”
Another added: “Went to The Fox on a cold Wednesday, its always a good sign when a pub is busy at lunchtime midweek, and clearly a reflection of a good local pub. Food was prompt and really nicely served and the staff were so attentive but not pushy, really very good.”
The food on offer is a massive hit, one person said: “Two of us had the Sunday roast which was so tasty and amazing Yorkshire puds. Every course is presented so well too."
Just off the M3, The Fox often attracts drivers who want a break in their journey while enjoying the countryside that the surrounding woodland and farmland has to offer.

A TripAdvisor reviewer said: “Traditional cosy British pub with friendly and attentive service and good food. We were looking for somewhere nice to break our motorway journey and this fitted the bill perfectly.”
The Fox is on the market for £700,000, which includes the popular pub and six-bedroom accommodation upstairs.
There is a huge garden space, popular in the summer when diners and drinkers want to enjoy the brilliant countryside views.
