A MAN in his 40s has been found dead at a hotel in Basingstoke where asylum seekers are currently being housed by the Home Office.
According to police, officers were called to the Apollo Hotel in Aldermaston Road by the ambulance service at 12.44pm on Saturday, April 1.
They were called following the death of a man in his 40s.
Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
The Apollo Hotel and the coroner’s office have been contacted for more information, but neither has yet to respond.
