A BASINGSTOKE-BASED care home provider has been named as one of the best-recommended care companies in Top 20 Care Home Awards.
Hartford Care, which has its head office in Bunnian Place, has been named one of the top contenders for care for the eighth consecutive year.
Recognising the most highly recommended care homes in the 12 UK regions and the Top 20 Care Home Groups overall, the results are calculated from independent reviews from residents, relatives and friends, submitted to carehome.co.uk.

The reviews are analysed and awarded an overall Group Review Score to find the most recommended companies, with Hartford Care being named one of the Top 20 Mid-Size Care Home Groups.
Kevin Shaw, chief executive of Hartford Care, said: “We are extremely pleased to be recognised as a Top 20 Care Home Group for the eighth year in a row.
"It’s no easy feat for a group of our size, it takes hard work and dedication, but most importantly providing consistent outstanding care to our residents.
"This award comes directly from our score on carehome.co.uk, which is comprised completely of user reviews.
"It is gratifying to see glowing appraisals from our residents and their families time and time again, and it makes me extremely proud to be of the team at Hartford Care. Thank you and well done to all our employees, it wouldn’t be possible without them.”
