WORK to a Basingstoke supermarket car park is set to be finished in the summer, a year after it first started.
As previously reported, work to the car park at the Waitrose store in Basing View began last year following problems with flooding.

The purpose-built 73,000 square foot store only opened in November 2015, initially co-located alongside John Lewis, which closed in 2021.
However, the top floor car park has suffered problems with flooding.
Waitrose began maintenance work last year to resolve the problems, which included the erection of a large, temporary structure to protect the work from rainfall.
A spokesperson for Waitrose confirmed the work is still “in progress” and is being done “in phases”.
She added: “We hope [it] will be finished in the summer.”
Waitrose said the work “isn’t having any disruption on our customers being able to park”.
