DRIVERS in Basingstoke will have 13 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M3, from 8pm March 17 to 6am April 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 6 to junction 7, Lane closure for signage maintenance works.

• M3, from 8pm June 20 2022 to 6am April 26 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 6 to 7, Lane closures for barrier works.

• M3, from 9pm December 9 2020 to 6am May 3 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 10, slip road closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme, diversion via local authority and National Highways network.

• A34, from 8pm July 20 2022 to 6am May 13 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to Whitchurch, Lane closures for barrier works.

• M3, from 9am February 20 to 1pm July 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 5 to 5, hard shoulder closure for inspection works.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next seven days:

• A34, from 8pm April 11 to 6am April 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Worthy Down to Sutton Scotney, Lane closures for survey work.

• A303, from 8pm April 11 to 6am April 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound to M3 northbound, link road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via local authority network.

• A34, from 8pm April 18 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Tot Hill, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

• A34, from 8pm April 20 to 6am April 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Beacon Hill, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via local authority network.

• A34, from 8pm April 21 to 6am April 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Litchfield to Whitchurch, Lane closures for drainage work.

• M3, from 9pm April 21 to 6am April 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 7 to junction 9, Lane closure for barrier repairs.

• A303, from 8pm April 24 to 6am April 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 7, slip road and hard shoulder closure for drainage work, diversion via National Highways and network.

• A303, from 8pm April 24 to 6am April 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
