DONKEYS, little lambs in jumpers and all your favourite farm animals in one place, which I was overjoyed to meet and greet at Miller's Ark Animals in Hook.

Starting off spring right, I excitedly booked a visit to the farm for one of their adult-only farm days.

This gave me and my family an hour and a half - which was more than enough time - to say hello and cuddle all my furry friends.

I started off by rubbing the belly of one of the farm dogs who greeted me at the entrance with a happy wag of his tail - which instantly warmed my heart. I knew this was going to be a great experience.

The staff at the farm explained to us where all the different animals were and before we knew it we were watching a mother goat caring for her one-hour-old kid.

I jumped at the opportunity to go into the goat enclosure, sit amongst the little ones and give them a stroke.

We then carried on walking around the farm where we spotted a number of donkeys, where I caught the attention of one in particular who enjoyed me scratching his neck.

I also had the amazing opportunity to meet mother donkey, Felicia and her baby Falafel, a Mediterranean miniature donkey. It was great to meet Falafel as I had previously reported on Falafel being rushed to hospital, so it was amazing to see she has made a full recovery.

After meeting the pigs, Daisy the shire horse, all of the chickens, ducks, sheep and lambs, we made our way to The Old Dairy Tea Barn.

We tried the special of the day which was bacon, halloumi and avocado panini alongside a piece of delicious cake.

I was extremely impressed by not only the kind service where I met owner Elizabeth Miller but also the wide range of options on the menu, suitable for all dietary requirements.

We then left the farm with full bellies and smiley faces alongside the donkeys.

Entry to the farm (not including any food) was £12 for adults and on lambing days for all ages, £10 each for children.

If you're looking for an uplifting, affordable day out, I couldn't recommend visiting the farm more.
