A MILITARY aircraft flypast will take place in the skies over Hampshire to mark the Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday, May 6.
Details have been revealed about restrictions expected to take place in the airspace in the vicinity of The Wash, The North Sea, East Anglia, Essex and London, with rehearsals expected to take place from Tuesday, April 25 to Thursday, April 27.
The dispersal will occur to the south and west of the London Central Control Zone which covers the skies over Surrey, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire as well as areas in Hampshire including Basingstoke, Farnborough and Andover.
It is as yet unknown what aircraft will be appearing, but based on previous Royal flypasts it is likely that the Red Arrows will be featuring in this event.
All information revealed so far is available to view on this website.
A Coronation Concert is also set to take place at Windsor Castle on Monday, May 8, and will be broadcast live on this Coronation Bank Holiday.
