THE girlfriend of a man who was allegedly murdered after he stole cannabis had her home and car vandalised by a gang of men who were trying to hunt him down.
Frazer Brabant was assaulted and found with serious head injuries in the back garden of a house in Gershwin Road on October 31, 2019.
The 31-year-old father-of-two was taken to hospital where he died on January 21, 2020.
Five men have gone on trial at Winchester Crown Court accused of offences involving Mr Brabant’s death.

On Friday, April 21, Mr Brabant’s girlfriend, Abbie Roberts, gave evidence, speaking about an attack on her home in Basingstoke on July 31, 2019.
She said: “I could hear tapping, my mum said ‘stop knocking on the window Frazer’, as she presumed it was him.
“I opened my window and saw numerous people outside my property, one particular person which was underneath the window, tapping the window.”
Ms Roberts said that there were 12 to 15 people outside, with one saying “open the f****** door, where’s Diego?”. The court heard on Thursday, April 20, that Mr Brabant was known to some people as Diego or D.
“I told them that he isn’t here,” Ms Roberts said. “They smashed my whole house up and both cars, they stabbed some of the car tyres.”
The court was told that the gang had batons and during the attack, which lasted around four minutes, also smashed windows on the house.
Prosecutor Michael Burrows KC said that following the attack police were called and there were calls between Mr Brabant and Ms Roberts.
Mr Burrows continued: “Are we right to assume that during these calls he was asking what happened and if you were alright?
“He was saying ‘really sorry, ridiculous that, all I can do is get them back'." Ms Roberts agreed.

Before the attack on her home, Ms Roberts said that she and Mr Brabant went for a Nando’s in Basingstoke and he received a call, and Ms Roberts said the person on the other end said: “Something along the lines ‘you give me my f****** shit back or it’s on’.”
The jury was also told of two occasions in which Ms Roberts bumped into two of the defendants accused of murdering Mr Brabant.
One of those was in Plush nightclub when she saw Forhad Miah, she alleges that Miah said “something around 'we don’t want it to be tit for tat'”. This was challenged by Miah’s barrister Ian Henderson who claimed that Miah said: “The back and forth just needs to stop”. Ms Roberts disagreed with this.
She also spoke of a time when she saw Scott Neale in Tea Bar and he was “behaving oddly” and she said Neale asked her ‘do you know who I am'.
Ms Roberts told the court that she did not know Neale personally and that he said to her “you’re going to know who I f****** am soon”.
