A BASINGSTOKE man has been fined after he travelled on a train without a ticket.
Steven Puddefoot, of Hillary Road, on October 5, 2022, in Basingstoke boarded a train without having a valid ticket entitling him to travel.
During a hearing held on April 14 at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, the 48-year-old was fined £147 and ordered to pay compensation costs of £27.70.

Magistrates also ordered him to pay court costs of £160 and a surcharge fee of £58.
He pleaded guilty to the offence.
