A MUM is organising a fundraising day in an effort to pay back a charity for the help it gave her when her daughter was diagnosed with autism.
Jordan Hall is putting on the day for her daughter Alexis, seven, who was diagnosed with autism last summer.
Any funds raised on the day will be donated to the charity Autism Hampshire.
Jordan, who is from Basingstoke, said: "I am extremely excited to be organising and helping run a fundraising day and night for a cause that’s not only special to my family but thousands of other people.
"My daughter received her diagnosis of ASD last year and since receiving her diagnosis the help we have received has been amazing, so I want to be able to give back to the charity Autism Hampshire so they can continue to help other families."
The day will see a packed programme and will take place at The Wote Street Club on June 2.
The day promises to be an event for all to enjoy, with a children and family event being held from midday until 4pm before an adult evening event, which starts at 7pm and will run until 1am.
The lineup of the family event includes a disco hosted by DJ Smudge, face and nail painting, and a family raffle, as well as guest appearances from special characters including Elsa from Frozen, Cinderella, Spiderman and many more.

The adult event, which starts at 7pm, will consist of more than 10 live singers and DJ sets from three DJs, including DJ Leroy Wilson.
An adult raffle will also be held, with more acts set to be confirmed for both the day and evening events. Tickets for the evening event must be bought in advance.
Jordan said: "I would like to thank all those who have already come forward to offer their time to help run the day and night and a special thank you to The Wote Street Club for allowing us to hold the event there. Please feel free to come along and help raise money for such a good cause."
Tickets for the day event can be bought at the door. Tickets for the evening event can be found at jumblebee.co.uk/ticket/. More information on the event can be found on Facebook at facebook.com/WoteStreetClub.
