A NEW estate agent has opened in Basingstoke, with those at the helm boasting plenty of experience in the industry.

After starting their careers in the property market when they were teenagers, Jamie Bennett and Matt Eady-Smith took the plunge in March 2023 to open their own estate agent, Right Choice.

Jamie, 30, born and bred in Basingstoke, was most recently a branch manager for a leading national estate agent in the borough, which has more than 170 offices nationwide.

Matt, 36, moved from Tadley to Basingstoke in 2012 and in the last 15 years of being an estate agent has successfully run two branches.

In 2019, Matt moved into the financial services industry and became a CeMAP qualified mortgage advisor.

Matt said: “I cannot wait to offer my clients a complete service with advice regarding their mortgage, assistance with their property sale and their search for a new home.”

The pair have worked together for several years, so after hours of discussions at the end of 2022, they agreed their wide knowledge together could provide customers with a great buying and selling experience.

Jamie added: “We have had a great start and have already begun marketing several properties within the first few weeks. I cannot wait for us to complete our first sale.”

They have also recruited their first employee, Emily Mills, who previously worked for Jamie.

The three of them combined, have more than 35 years of experience of selling properties in and around the borough.

Their goal for Right Choice is to become a "household name in Basingstoke" by helping people sell and find their perfect home.
