A BOWLING club in Basingstoke will open its doors to enthusiasts and newcomers alike, offering an opportunity to experience the joys of lawn bowls, as part of National Bowls Big Weekend 2023.
Basingstoke Town Bowling Club, located on Fairfields Road opposite Fairfields School, is inviting people to visit the club on Saturday, May 27, from 10 am to 4 pm.
The nationwide event will see more than 700 clubs across the UK showcasing the sport of lawn bowls, inviting individuals from all walks of life to try their hand at this alternative and enjoyable activity.
Families and friends are encouraged to join in the festivities at Basingstoke Town Bowling Club.

With all the necessary equipment provided on the day, participants only need to come prepared with a pair of flat-soled shoes or trainers to engage in the game.
