A TEENAGER has been arrested after burglaries at a school and businesses in Basingstoke.
A 16-year-old boy from Basingstoke has been arrested on suspicion of three burglaries and two attempted burglaries.
He has been released from police custody but remains on conditional bail while enquiries continue.

The arrest comes as part of an ongoing investigation into the following incidents:
- At 6.22am on Wednesday, March 29, Cranbourne School in Wessex Close was broken into. An Apple iPad, a smartwatch and a laptop were stolen.
- At around 12.30am on Saturday, May 20, Milan Hairdressing on Cleaver Road, Basingstoke was broken into and the till was stolen.
- Between 12am and 5am on Saturday, May 20, the Fellowship Educational Society on Cross Street, Basingstoke was broken into and a donation box was stolen.
- At around 12.45am on Saturday, May 20, an attempted burglary took place at Shakeaway, Hampstead House, Basingstoke. No entry was gained.
- At around 12.45am on Saturday, May 20 an attempted burglary took place at Pret A Manger, Hempstead House, Basingstoke. No entry was gained.

A police spokesperson said: "Officers continue to investigate all incidents and are keen to hear from anyone who has information that may assist in enquiries.
