THE family of a 15-year-old girl who died on the railway in Basingstoke have paid tribute to their 'wonderful daughter'.
Amy Hursey, from Basingstoke, died on the railway line on Thursday, April 20.
Amy's family have now paid tribute to her, saying: "Amy Hursey, the most kind and wonderful daughter, sister, grand-daughter, niece, cousin and friend, passed away suddenly on the 20th April aged just 15.
"We’d like to ask for our privacy to be respected as we come to terms with this unimaginable loss, a loss that is so much harder to bear because of the joy and happiness she brought to all that knew and loved her in her all too short life.”

Emergency services were called to Basingstoke train station at 5.22pm on April 20 following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics attended however Amy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers are not treating the incident as suspicious and an inquest has been opened into Amy's death.
