A MAN has been charged after another man was stabbed in Basingstoke over the weekend.
Police were called at 1.10pm on Saturday, May 27, by the ambulance service to say that a man had been found with injuries in Stag Hill.
The victim, a man in his 30s, suffered several stab wounds and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.

Officers attended the scene and later made an arrest.
Frederick Veers, 38, of Bessemer Road, Basingstoke, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a knife in a public place, and criminal damage.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Monday, May 29, and is next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, June 28.
