A BABY donkey who was stolen from her mother at Miller's Ark farm in Basingstoke has been found.
Two-month-old foal Moon was taken from a field where she was with her mother, Astra, on May 15.
Members of staff at the farm have confirmed that on Wednesday, May 31 they travelled to Buckinghamshire, liaised with Thames Valley Police and have recovered little Moon.
They took to Facebook to share the news. The post reads: "We are beyond thrilled and Mum and foal are finally back together. Moon appears to be in good health, thank heaven, and we will make sure that Moon and her mum Astra get lots of love and care as they re discover each other.

"It is because of all of you, amazing people, who have supported Moon, Astra and the team at Miller’s Ark, sharing this story far and wide - and now you have brought her home. A huge thank you to all streams of the media who spread the story further, Thames Valley Police for their quick response and Surrey and Hampshire Police for their work behind the scenes."
Elizabeth Miller, who owned Miller’s Ark, near Hook, appealed to the public for help finding Moon, and said she was completely devastated and incredibly concerned for the foal, who needed to be with her mother.
Hampshire Constabulary received multiple calls from members of the public with possible sightings of the donkey.

Elizabeth said the farm has been really touched by all the support shown to us since Moon was stolen.
This included the offer by a private donor of £10,000 for Moon's safe return, and a Go Fund Me launched to raise funds for surveillance cameras to prevent any other animals from being taken.
Two artists have also shown their support through their work with a painting of Astra donated by Four Paws and a Pencil.
