Basingstoke and Deane's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M3, from 9am February 20 to 1pm July 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 5 to 5, hard shoulder closure for inspection works.
And a further seven closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M3, from 8pm June 5 to 6am June 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound to A303 westbound, link road lane closures for inspection work.
• A34, from 8pm June 7 to 6am June 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Whitchurch to Litchfield, Lane closure for barrier works.
• A303, from 8pm June 8 to 6am June 9, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 7, Slip and lane closures for drainage works.
• A34, from 8pm June 8 to 6am June 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Whitchurch to Litchfield, Lane closure for barrier works.
• A34, from 8pm June 12 to 6am June 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Litchfield to Beacon Hill, Lane closure for barrier works.
• M3, from 8pm June 16 to 6am July 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 7 to junction 6, Lane closures for inspection work.
• A34, from 9pm June 16 to 5am June 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington to Litchfield, carriageway closure for carriageway reconstruction works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
