SHERFIELD School pupil Lily-Mae Lancaster Evans has continued with her impressive form this season and become national triathle champion.
Lily-Mae, who lives in Sherfield-on-Loddon, was one of the youngest competitors in the U17 Girls category at the national triathle championships which took place at Leweston School in Dorset last weekend.
The talented 14-year-old is part of the prestigious talent pathway with Pentathlon GB and competes in several different sporting disciplines that make up modern pentathlon.
Triathle comprises of running, swimming and laser shooting.

Her win now means she has now qualified for the World Championships in Bali later this year in both the individual and mixed relay events.
A previous two-times Basingstoke and Deane junior sportswoman of the year finalist, Lily-Mae has been competing since she was eight-years-old and is a member of Leweston Pentathlon Academy.
She is also a member of both Basingstoke Bluefins and Basingstoke and Mid Hants Athletics Club, training and competing regularly with both clubs. She also trains with Reading Fencing Club.
Last year, she became European Mixed Laser Run champion after competing in Greece and also won a Silver medal in the individual laser run competition.
She also won three major British titles in the U15 age group last year - British Laser Run Champion; British Tetrathlon Champion and British Modern Triathlon Champion.
Already this year she has won a silver medal at the British Tetrathlon Championships in U17’s.
Later this month she will be travelling to Erding in Germany for the European Championships and competing in Laser Run, Biathle and Triathle after qualifying earlier this year
In August, she will be competing at the World Laser Run Championships which this year are being held in Bath.
