Rainy Carter, 50, from King’s Meadow in Overton had her photo taken with Gazza, who recently won the Channel 4 reality show Scared of the Dark.
She said: “He was so lovely and chatty. He introduced me to all his family and friends.”
She said there were about 10 people at his table and he was staying at The White Hart Hotel in Overton after going on a fishing trip on the River Test.
“He is a true legend,” said Rainy, adding: “He posted my photo on his personal Twitter account with 86k followers and already it’s up to 9,000 hits. He really was a lovely, wonderful man and a true legend.”
