THE Magic of Thailand was celebrated in Basingstoke this weekend, with a festival sharing Asian culture.
The event, described as "two days of Thai culture for the whole family" took place from Saturday, June 10 to Sunday, June 11 at the War Memorial Park in Basingstoke.
The annual two-day Basingstoke Thai Food and Craft Festival made its return with a whole host of treats to taste and live performances to watch.

From Muay Thai demonstrations to delicious food, there was a spectacular array of entertainment throughout the two-day period.

As well as this, visitors enjoyed drinking a lot of Singha beer in the sun, as well as the various arts and crafts on offer, spectated Thai dances, and even Ladyboy shows.
The event was topped off with a hilarious ‘I’m British, Get me out of here’ eating competition, in which participants were encouraged to taste unusual foods, which were particularly spicy.
