THREE more Bison players have found a new home for next season, as the Herd sit out the campaign, writes Graham Merry.
They are Jay King, Jordan Lawday and Marcus Mitchell.
The Bison’s defenceman of the Year Jay King and netminder Jordan Lawday have both signed for the Chelmsford Chieftains, while defenceman Marcus Mitchell has moved to the Oxford City Stars, where he joins fellow last year Bison Tom Banner.
Both Chelmsford and Oxford play in South One, so these players will face each other during this winter’s campaign.
This means a total of 10 of last year’s Bison players have moved to new teams.
Hallam Wilson and Paul Petts are the new player coaches at the Basingstoke Buffalo.
Brendan Baird, Aidan Doughty, Liam Morris, Edgars Landsbergs have all joined the Bees based in Slough.
George Norcliffe and Zack Milton have made the switch to the Raiders of Romford.
