A MOTORBIKE has been seized by police after it was spotted without a number plate in Chineham.
Officers spotted three motorcycles near Binfield Roundabout without visible licence plates shortly before 9pm on Tuesday, June 20.
One of the bikes was left on the road once the riders involved noticed the officers, with the other two bikes being driven away. The motorcycle left on the road was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "Officers patrolling in Basingstoke yesterday evening (Tuesday, June 20) spotted three motorcycles without visible license plates on the A33 in Chineham shortly after 8.40pm.

"On noticing officers, one of the motorcycles was left in the road and the two others drove away. We conducted a search of the area but the motorcyclists and the riders were not located.
"The motorcycle that was left on the road has been seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
"This incident is under investigation and enquiries are underway to identify those involved."
