A PHARMACY in Basingstoke is set to close at the end of July.
Cohens Chemist has been based at Essex House on Essex Road for nearly five years. Prior to Cohens Chemist, many residents will remember the pharmacy which had been occupied by Lloyds Pharmacy for a number of years.
Cohens will be packing up and moving on July 31, with the pharmacy's last working day at Essex Road being July 28.
The staff at Essex House pharmacy will be moving to Crown Heights in Alençon Link, to join its store already in the area.

The current premises in Essex House belongs to the Camrose, Gillies & Hackwood (CGH) Partnership, but it is unknown what will go into the store when it becomes vacant at the end of July.
Manager of Cohen Chemist, Bigyan Gurung, said: "I've been here for nearly two years, but the chemist has been here for five years, and before that, it had been Lloyds Pharmacy for a long time.

"We have quite a small team here but we do what we can and what we do, we do well, and we have very much enjoyed our time here at Essex House. You get to know the people coming in regularly on a more personal level, so we're both excited and sad to be moving.
"It's been a pleasure and an honour to serve the local community for as long as we have, and we're hoping our customers join us in relocating to Crown Heights. We look forward to seeing them there."
