A SPECIAL outdoor theatre in Basingstoke will be playing Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and residents are invited along to enjoy the show.

Festival Players International will be back at Bartons Mill in the al fresco gardens on Friday, July 7.

Twelfth Night is a romantic comedy that has got all the ingredients for another engaging Shakespear performance by "the UK's prime all-male touring company".

In a colourful costume, brought to life with players' customary energy, clarity, and professionalism, the tale of the pursuit of love hampered by disguise, mistaken identity and a great deal of roisterous and hilarious trickery is sure to entertain.

The show starts at 6pm but residents are encouraged to arrive at 5pm. Special afternoon tea picnic tickets are available for £25.
