Drivers in Basingstoke will be celebrating this week after the full route around Brighton Hill Roundabout reopened for the first time in two months.
Motorists reported the roundabout had been fully reopened on July 9, after the full route around the roundabout had been closed for a number of months while construction and redevelopment works have taken place.
The closure had been in place from May 9 until July 9 and restricted turning movements at the roundabout. It had been closed with the aim of allowing the contractor to deliver the next phase of work as quickly as possible.

The roundabout has been under construction since April 2022, with early preparatory work commencing on the roundabout in January 2022. The improvement scheme is due to be completed in the winter of 2023.
Diversions had been in place while full access around the roundabout was closed, affecting traffic from Kempshott and Winchester Road. All approach roads had remained opened with a single lane open through the roundabout for A30 traffic.
Watch below as the full route around the roundabout reopened, allowing traffic to navigate all exits of the roundabout.
