A MAN from Basingstoke has appeared in court after he was found with suspected wraps of Class A drugs and cash.
On Thursday, July 20, Basingstoke patrolling officers noticed two men acting suspiciously in an alleyway between Jersey Close and Cleeve Road, Popley, just after midday.
As they spoke to the men, a third man arrived on a bicycle.
Officers searched this man and found suspected wraps of Class A drugs and cash.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Jason King, 48, of Evesham Walk, Basingstoke has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, possession of a controlled drug of class A, possession of a controlled drug of class B and possession of criminal property."
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Saturday, July 22.
He was remanded in custody to reappear in court on Friday, August 18.
