A NATIONAL children's orchestra is heading to Basingstoke's The Anvil for a magical and inspirational show.
Following their week-long summer residential, the National Children’s Orchestras of Great Britain will present the 2023 Main Orchestra on Sunday, July 30.
The afternoon concert with be filled with magic, dreams, myths and fantasies as their programme includes Paul Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Bernard Herrmann’s Prelude and Nightmare from Vertigo Suite, Gabriela Ortiz’s Kauyumari, and Hector Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique.

At 13 and 14 years old, the determination, skill, creativity, and flair of these young musicians are truly impressive.
Residents are encouraged not to miss their performance in Basingstoke as they share the culmination of their hard work following their week of rehearsals and creative sessions.
