Items worth hundreds of pounds have been stolen from two stores in Basingstoke.
Victor George Saunders, 39, of no fixed abode, was charged with theft and robbery on Wednesday, July 26.
The theft charge relates to an incident at the Co-op in Wallingford Road on Wednesday, June 21, in which items worth £200 were taken from the store.

He is also accused of a robbery at the One Stop store in Lindisfarne Close on Friday, July 16, in which items worth £600 were taken. During the incident, a shop worker reported being threatened verbally.
Saunders appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 27, and was remanded to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, August 30.
